There is something about Quincy. Even as a puppy there was just something about him that caught the eye. When Tony (Darton Kennels) came over at the eight week eval and gave us his evaluation, he said that Quincy's a specials dog. Probably won't do much in the all breed ring.

He's a quiet dog, always watching with that gleam of intelligence. He gets nervous on the table and some would think he didn't have the temperment for the ring. His dad and mom are very out going, so are all of his kids. When he and his littermates were born Jocelyn was going through hip surgery and he and his mates didn't get out much.

But there's just something about him. When you run with him he never breaks stride, he moves and covers ground so effortlessly. His mother moves like a dream but he moves better. He's 15 inches, has a 90 degree front, a 45 degree layback and a 90 degree rear, hard top line and a high tail set. He's not perfect, but there's just something about Quincy.

We enterred him into the Yorton show with no show coat. It was more like a puppy coat. He won Winners Male and got two points. The judge told us later that she picked him because he moved so well. He might do well in the ring and then again he may not. So far his kids have picked up four championships, a Best Puppy in Show and two Puppy Groups.
